Intel New Chipset Nehalem

Intel launch it LGA 775 socket around 3 years. New Technology stepping in and have it code name "Nehalem". Which using LGA 1366 socket. More information here. 

At least I do have 775 socket chipset at home which is my macbook. And 478 pin Hyper Threading PC that still sit inside my room for 5 years. 

As long as good maintenance and know your PC well. Don't stress them too much. Everything can work well as long as no major component damage. Sometime technology company just push hard on their so call "new Product" in order to get more money. You have to justify yourself to prevent spending too often for unnecessary penny.
